Staff Headshots and Branding Images for True Blue Migration
Collaborative Projects:
True Blue Migration are located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. They’re immigration agents who help those seeking residency in Australia achieve the correct Visas and Citizenships. They’re a tight-knit team who work closely with clients, often over a matter of years, to help them achieve outcomes that are literally lifechanging.
I have had the opportunity to work with True Blue Migration twice now. On each occasion, I captured their staff headshots and a series of branding photographs for an upcoming website launch of their business. I love working with this team. They’re a collection of the nicest people, and we always have a lot of fun when we work together. It’s so inspiring when people give new things a go!
As a part of this project, I was lucky to meet and work with Rachel, from Rite Visuals. Rachel was commissioned to create video content and film customer testimonials for True Blue Migration. Our first shoot was a full day on location at the True Blue Migration office in Moonee Ponds. We had a series of different settings and ‘scenes’ to work with. From this, we were each able to create on-target content that was personal to True Blue Migration.
Staff Headshots:
The headshots I created were to be used across a new website, which is still currently in the build process. They needed headshots of each team member that showcased personality, professionalism and approachability. After all, these are the people who are helping others achieve residency. It’s important that the portraits communicated the level of care and connection these people have with their clients.
I worked with each team member for about ten minutes. This allowed us to build a connection, as well as view the shots as we went along. Having the images on the laptop is an easy way to make sure we’re on track, and captured exactly what we needed from each person. With a slate grey backdrop, we kept the look consistent and clean – a professional look for each team member that can tie in nicely with their new site.
Branding Photos:
To showcase True Blue Migration ‘at work’, it was important to capture a wide range of imagery. I photographed the team across various settings, in different groups of people, with past clients, and in meetings to convey a sense of realness in the images. Instead of using generic stock imagery, True Blue Migration have built up their own library of images that capture their strongest asset: their team members.
We worked across several rooms to showcase their comfortable office setting. From reception greetings, to staff meetings, these images work to show who the True Blue Migration team are. They’ve been able to use a wide range of imagery to accompany client testimonials, showcase their services on social media, and soon their new website (I’ve seen a sneak peak, and it’s amazing!).
Working with a team that is passionate about what they do is wonderful. Each time I work with True Blue Migration I’m welcomed with open arms, and am trusted to create on-brand imagery that I know will benefit their business.
