At Julia Nance Portraits, we celebrate uniqueness and believe everyone should have beautiful images of themselves. We work with individuals to create modelling portfolios that speak personality and are on-trend.

Our modelling portfolio sessions are focused on building self-esteem and confidence in front of the camera. You don’t even have to be in the industry or an aspiring model to attend one of these sessions. This is your chance to be a model for a day!

Let me tell you about my model portfolio sessions. . .  

Based in Ringwood East, in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs, you’ll find a home away from home. Relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments – let’s get to know each other and discover the best backgrounds and settings to capture you at your best. 

In the studio together, we will explore different backdrops, outfits and poses to create a portfolio of stunning imagery you’ll adore. With experience working as a photographer for a modelling agency in the past, I have experience guiding and posing new models of all ages.

Here’s a little look at what I offer across my model portfolio photography sessions:

What can we create together?

You can expect to walk away from your photoshoot having captured lots of different looks. I always encourage a range of outfits to explore. 

It can be fun to try different backgrounds and colours, some indoor and outdoor settings, and a few different moods. Choose from bright pops of colour like pink and blue, to dark and moody like navy, olive green and charcoal. Book an afternoon timeslot and jump outside as the sun gets lower for a glowy, sunshine look.

I’ll be your posing coach, prompting you and showing you different ways to pose throughout your shoot if you need it. We’ll be capturing a mix of full length portraits, mid length and model headshots.

These model portfolio sessions are suitable for experienced and beginner models, and I can guide you as little or as much as you need.
